Tate Pursell
Tate Pursell is a seasoned executive and board member with a career spanning both the public and private sectors, uniquely positioning him as an expert in guiding leaders through transitions between these two realms. With over 40 years of experience, Tate has served as CEO of five companies, held senior roles at major corporations like GE Lighting and Unilever, and overseen numerous private equity-owned portfolio companies. He has also held positions on thirteen boards of directors and served on audit/risk committees, earning the designation of Audit Committee Financial Expert.
As a former U.S. Air Force Management Analysis Officer, Tate managed operations and cost analysis, and his team implemented DoD’s activity-based cost management program. His blend of military, government, and private sector experience gives him an unparalleled understanding of the nuances and challenges leaders face when navigating these different environments.
Tate holds an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis, along with certifications from the National Association of Corporate Directors and the Private Directors Association.
